Vapor voting exposed

In Controlled Test, Results Are Manipulated in Florida System

As the Leon County supervisor of elections, Ion Sancho's job is to make sure voting is free of fraud. But the most brazen effort lately to manipulate election results in this Florida locality was carried out by Sancho himself.

Thank you Washington Post; more like this please.

Virginia Verified Voting

UPDATE - Senate vote postponed, will be a Tuesday soon at 4PM, but not 1/24, We still lobby on 1/24

Lobby Day is still Jan 24, from 8AM-4PM, but we'll have to return for the committee vote

Plan to attend the hearings soon, the senate will be on a Tuesday afternoon at 4PM and the house will be on a Friday morning at 9:30 AM. We'll post the new date as soon as its announced.

Delegate Tim Hugo and Senator Jeannemarie Devolites Davis have introduced legislation requiring voter-verified paper audit trails for voting equipment (HB 1243 and SB 424). For these bills to become law, we will have to make a strong showing to our legislators. Digital voting machines that lack a voter-verified paper trail are subject to programming errors and possible fraud, with no capability for meaningful audits or recounts.

If you care about the integrity of Virginia elections, now is the time to act! Come to lobby day in Richmond on Jan. 24, 2006 and let our representatives know that Virginians care about the integrity of our elections, and that we demand transparent and reliable elections. We will provide materials, and information. No experience is necessary. We will train you and partner you with another volunteer. We will cap the day by attending a Senate committee hearing and showing that Virginia citizens care about our the integrity of our elections.

General Assembly Building, Richmond, VA on Jan. 24, 2006
