Legislation for the protection of women

Below is a list of legislation that would, if enacted, address the issue of violence against women. It is probably incomplete, but at least gives us an idea of what is currently being debated. I also want to recognize those politicians who are leading the fight against misogynist violence.

S.AMDT.528 to S.CON.RES.21
To increase funding by $100 million for the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) programs administered by the Department of Justice and Department of Health and Humans Services, with an offset of an unallocated reduction to non-defense discretionary spending and/or reduction to administrative expenses.
